Hermès: FY 2018 earnings up 15%

(CercleFinance.com) - Hermès International has published net income group share that is up 15% at 1,405 million euros (+11% restated for the capital gain made on the sale of Galleria), with underlying operating profitability at 34.
3% of sales, close to its level in 2017.

The luxury house explains this performance by particularly healthy growth and sound cost control. Sales amounted to 5,966 million euros, up 10.4% at constant exchange rates and up 7.5% at current exchange rates.

At the forthcoming AGM of 4 June, the group will propose a dividend at 4.55 euros per share, it being specified that the interim dividend of 1.50 euro, paid on 22 February, will be deducted from the dividend that will be decided on at the meeting.
