Atos: signs strategic partnership with CEA

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos today announced the signature of a strategic research and innovation partnership with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).


This agreement will enable both entities to jointly conduct R&D work to design and support the development of innovative solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.

They will collaborate on several themes; in particular the fight against climate change, but also frugal digital technology - a major challenge in terms of controlling electricity consumption and greenhouse gas emissions - quantum computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and a trusted "cloud-edge" architecture.

The complementary nature of both organisations' activities will enable them to develop a joint R&D program and to jointly respond to calls for projects at a French and European level, Atos said.
