Sopra Steria: contract with British MoD

8% in early trading on Friday, after SSCL, in which it has a 75% stake, signed with the British Ministry of Defense (MoD), a contract worth a total of 300 million pounds, over a period of seven years.

The contract starts in January 2020, making a significant contribution to group sales, from its execution, as well as initial transformation projects, which are expected to last nearly three years, an analyst at Oddo BHF says.

Like other similar contracts, this contract will only have a limited level of profitability and will use up cash in its initial stages, before becoming profitable (in line with other contracts carried out by JVs), he continues.
