Crédit Agricole: flat gross operating income in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole SA has published Q2 2020 underlying net income that is down 10.
9% at 1,107 million euros, with the fall in underlying gross operating income (GOI) limited to 0.5% to 2,130 million euros.

Underlying revenues were flat (+0.1%) at 5,185 million euros: retail banking was badly hit by the coronavirus-induced crisis, although corporate and institutional activities were dynamic.

The CET1 ratio increased by 0.6 point over the quarter, reaching 12.0% at the end of June, incorporating ECB regulatory adjustments and the impact of the market recovery over the quarter on latent reserves on securities portfolios.
