Air France-KLM: passenger traffic halved in March
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced total passenger traffic that was halved (-50.
6%) in March, based on a capacity that was reduced by 35.5%, resulting in a 20.5-point slump in its load factor, to 67.1%.
More specifically, passenger traffic (Air France and KLM) fell by 51%, including a 48.8% dive in long-hall trafic and a 60.9% drop in short- and medium-hall traffic, while traffic for its low-coast banner, Transavia slid 46.3%.
Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch airline's freight traffic fell by 28.8% last month, based on a 27.8% reduction in capacity, which actually resulted in a load factor that slipped just 0.8% to 61.5%.
