Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 9.5% in April

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 9.
5% in April, based on capacity that is up 8.8%, which has led to a 0.6-point improvement in its load factor to 88.7%.

Specifically, its networks (Air France, KLM and HOP!) saw traffic increase by 9.2%, including 8.9% on long-haul flights and 10.2% on short- and medium-haul flights, while its low cost division, Transavia, saw traffic increase by 12.5%.

Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch group's cargo traffic increased by 3.3% last month, based on a 6.4% increase in capacity, which led to a load factor that is down 1.8 point at 59.3%.
