Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 2.8% in March

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced total passenger traffic that is up 2.
8% in March, based on capacity that is up 3.1%, which has led to a 0.3-point reduction in its load factor to 87.6%.

In particular, airline announced that traffic on its networks (Air France, KLM and HOP!) rose by 1.9%, including a 2.9% increase on short- and medium-haul routes, while traffic on the group's low cost Transavia division rose by 12%.

Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch group's cargo traffic rose 1.5% last month, based on capacity that is up 2.2%, which reflects a load factor that is down 0.4 point at 62.2%.
