Kone: wins big order in China

(CercleFinance.com) - Kone Corporation announces that it has won an order for the supply and installation of 77 lifts and escalators for the Changsha Shengtong Meixi International Headquarters in Changsha, China.


The complex includes two towers, which are 279.5 metres and 215.5 metres high. The office and residential facilities will accommodate up to 7,000 visitors and residents per day.

Kone will supply 26 MiniSpace lifts, 17 MonoSpace lifts, 32 TravelMaster 110 escalators and two TravelMaster 115 moving walkways. In addition, the agreement includes the 24/7 Connected Services predictive maintenance solution, as well as two years of standard maintenance.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2023.
