Nokia: chosen by Swisscom Broadcast for its drones

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announces that it has been chosen by Swisscom Broadcast to deploy a nationwide network of Drones-as-a-Service in Switzerland, with 300 Nokia Drone-in-a-Box units.


The network aims to improve emergency response, perimeter protection and infrastructure inspection, enhancing the safety of public safety workers.

This project will support Switzerland's public safety and Industry 4.0 efforts. The drones, operated remotely, will provide crucial information quickly after an emergency, improving decision-making by first responders.
