Almirall: research collaboration with Chinese biotech

(CercleFinance.com) - Spanish drugmaker Almirall said that it has entered into a research collaboration with China's HitGen to identify new molecules for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.


Almirall said that with the Chengdu-based biotechnology firm it plans to develop an advanced lead-generation platform based on DNA-encoded libraries.

Although it was founded in 2012, HitGen already has a library of nearly 400 billion compounds.
