Siemens Gamesa: Windar to be floated?

(CercleFinance.com) - The group would like to list Windar Renovables, the Spanish specialist in building wind turbines, on the stock exchange, according to El Confidential this morning.


The company would have a valuation of around 1 billion euros.

Windar has appointed Rothschild as a financial advisor, Garrigues for legal matters, and the investment banks Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley as underwriters for the IPO, El Confidential says.

Siemens Gamesa currently holds 32% of Windar's capital, with Grupo Daniel Alonso the remaining 68%, Aurel BCG said.
