Zalando: reports 6% more customers, but flat sales
(CercleFinance.com) - Zalando today announced that its number of active customers increased by 6% to over 51 million last year, and that Zalando's loyalty program, "Plus", more than doubled its membership to more than 2 million compared to the previous year.
KPIs for 2022 were within the range of the company's updated forecasts.
Gross merchandise volume increased by 3% to E14.8bn in 2022, with revenues stable y-o-y at E10.3bn. Adjusted EBIT amounted to E184.6m.
To ensure profitable growth in 2023 and beyond, the company will continue to work on improving its margin, simplifying the organisation and investing selectively throughout the cycle to take advantage of growth opportunities.
