Siemens Energy: memorandum of understanding with Berlin city

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Energy said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the city of Berlin to explore possible locations for its corporate headquarters.


In the deal, the parties agreed to develop a joint location and structural concept for the establishment of the corporate centre, the company said in a statement. The agreement was signed by mayor Michael Müller and by Siemens Energy CEO Christian Bruch.

Last month, Siemens Energy said that its corporate headquarters would be based in Berlin, even if it is still unknown at which of its current Berlin locations the new headquarters will be located.
