E.ON: 19% increase in adjusted net profit in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - E.
ON has reported Q1 2021 adjusted net income that is up 19% at 809 million euros, with adjusted operating profit that is up 14% at 1.7 billion euros, boosted by a near doubling of the contribution from its customer solutions business.
An increase in weather-related gas sales volumes and a successful restructuring operation in the UK were key factors behind this performance, the German energy group explained.
On this basis, E.ON has confirmed its 2021 targets, including adjusted operating profit of 3.8 to 4 billion euros and EBITDA of 7.2 to 7.5 billion euros, as well as its medium-term targets and dividend policy.
