Commerzbank: new chairman of supervisory board

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday evening Commerzbank announced the election of Hans-Jörg Vetter as the new chairman of its supervisory board, an appointment that is subject to his appointment as a member of the board, which is set to occur in the next few days.


Hans-Jörg Vetter succeeds Stefan Schmittmann, who stepped down as chairman of the German bank's supervisory board at the beginning of July. As a reminder, CEO Martin Zielke also announced his resignation at this time.
