Bayer: AI at the heart of imaging

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer announced on Wednesday that it plans to present a number of innovations featuring artificial intelligence at the American radiology congress RSNA, which opens this Sunday in Chicago.


The German pharmaceutical company said it had signed a number of collaboration agreements with application developers such as Quantib, ClariPi and Exini Diagnostics to enhance its Calantic medical imaging platform.

With these new functionalities based on artificial intelligence, Bayer will be able to offer - from its digital solution - tools for the detection of respiratory and neurological diseases, but also for prostate or breast imaging.

Bayer says that these largely automated and standardised technologies are a good way, from the point of view of health centres, of dealing with staff shortages by using the advantages of artificial intelligence and data.
