Bayer: raises FY targets

(CercleFinance.com) - On announcing its quarterly results, Bayer said that it is raising its 2022 sales target from 47 to 48 billion euros, with organic growth of around 8%, an adjusted EBITDA margin of around 26% to 27% and adjusted EPS of around 7.

In Q2, the German group's EPS from continuing operations rose by 19.9% to 1.93 euro, while its adjusted EBITDA increased 30% to 3.35 billion euros, on sales of over 12.8 billion euros, up 9.6% in organic terms.

In terms of sales, the company said it recorded significant gains in agrochemicals and strong growth in consumer healthcare, as well as a slight increase in pharmaceuticals.
