Allianz: Q3 net income of up 16.7%

(CercleFinance.com) - Total revenues edged up 1.
3% to 34.8 billion euros in Q3 2022 (vs. 34.4 billion euros in Q3 2021), driven by Allianz's property and casualty business segment.

For the first 9 months, premium income increased 5.3% to 116.0 billion euros (compared to 110.1 billion euros in 9m 2021).

Operating profit increased by 7.4% to 3.5 billion euros in Q3, while net profit reached 2.5 billion euros (+16.7%).

For the first 9m net income was 4.7 billion euros, down 31.5%.

The group expects 2022 operating profit to be in the upper half of the target range of 12.4 to 14.4 billion euros.
