Siemens: expands partnership with US software firm

(CercleFinance.com) - German industrial giant Siemens said that it plans to expand its partnership with US software development company Bentley Systems.


The strategic alliance, which started in 2016, will be further expanded, with the two groups strengthening their engineering and project management tools for the engineering and construction sectors.

They have also decided to further develop their joint business cooperation and commercial initiatives, as well as their digital know-how in infrastructure and industrial advancement.

Their investments will be extended by an additional 50 million euros, totaling 100 million euros, they said.

As a result, Siemens' stake in Bentley Systems now exceeds 9%, the companies said.
