Siemens: launches City Air Management solution

(CercleFinance.com) - Today, at the World Cities Summit in Singapore, Siemens announced a new software solution called City Air Management (CyAM), aimed at helping cities to cope with the growing problem of air pollution.


The German group explains that this cloud-based solution collects real-time air quality data from sensors, and with the help of algorithms, predicts pollution emissions three-to-five days in advance.

Siemens also announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, to jointly deploy and strengthen this CyAM solution in its first global establishment.
