Infineon: completes placement of new shares

(CercleFinance.com) - Infineon says that it has placed 55 million new shares following an accelerated bookbuilding process with institutional investors at 19.
30 euros each, meaning gross proceeds of around 1.06 billion euros.

"After deducting commissions and expenses the funds will be used to repay a part of the acquisition financing provided by banks for the purchase of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation," the German semi-conductor maker said.
