Henkel: sales up and raises annual forecast

( - Henkel has reported sales of 5.
97 billion euros for Q3, up 11.3% in organic terms y-o-y.

Business was driven by the strength of all three divisions: Adhesive Technologies (+16.8% organic growth), Beauty Care (+0.9% organic growth) and Laundry & Home Care (+7.3% organic growth).

In the first nine months of the year, sales reached 16.9 billion euros, up 9.7% in organic terms y-o-y.

In this context, Henkel has raised its 2022 guidance, with it now expecting organic sales growth of 7% to 8% (vs. 5.5% to 7.5% previously) and an EBIT margin of 10% to 11% (vs. 9% to 11% previously). Finally, adjusted EPS is expected to decline by 15%-25% compared to an expected decline of 15%-35% previously.
