Deutsche Post: stock down after 'Strategy 2025' plan

(CercleFinance.com) - The Deutsche Post-DHL share is down 2.
4% in Frankfurt on Tuesday in early afternoon trading, after logistics giant and presented its "Strategy 2025" plan, in which it intends to accelerate growth at its core businesses. This has clearly failed to convince the market.

Amongst other things, the German group plans to invest 2 billion euros in digital transformation, which is expected to generate annual earnings of at least 1.5 billion euros by 2025.

Confirming its target for operating profit of over 5 billion euros for 2020, the group expects it to increase to more than 5.3 billion euros by 2022, with a significant improvement in its free cash flow.
