Dufry: extends contract with St. Petersburg airport

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss travel retailer Dufry said on Wednesday that it has extended its duty-free concession contract at Pulkovo airport in St.
Petersburg for another seven years.

Dufry - which has operated the Pulkovo concession since 2014 - said it will redesign the current departure area by refurbishing the walk-through zone covering close to 1,900 m2.

The project will also allow a better connection between the duty-free store and the central lounge area of the terminal, with a revisited specialty store area of 13 shops across 1,100 m2.

St. Petersburg is the most visited city by tourists in Russia and the Pulkovo airport welcomes 19.6 million passengers per year.
