Credit Suisse: new board chairman
(CercleFinance.com) - Credit Suisse Group AG has announced that its shareholders have approved all of the Board of Directors' proposals at today's Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Zurich.
With a big majority of 96.4%, António Horta-Osório was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Clare Brady and Blythe Masters joined the Board.
António Horta-Osório succeeds Urs Rohner who, after 12 years on the Board - 10 of which as Chairman - decided not to seek re-election.
Other board members proposed for re-election were confirmed for a further term.
Finally, the shareholders approved the payment of a dividend of 0.1 Swiss franc per share for FY 2020.
