Credit Suisse: Fitch raises outlook to 'stable'
(CercleFinance.com) - The credit rating agency Fitch Ratings announced on Friday that it has raised its outlook on Credit Suisse's credit rating from "negative" to "stable," while confirming its "A-" rating.
In a statement, the rating agency said that this decision reflects the "sufficient" leeway that the Swiss bank has to absorb possible shocks that may arise from different economic scenarios.
In particular Fitch mentions the group's "solid" international base in wealth management and its status as a leading universal bank in Switzerland.
